About this test
This colour personality test explores the link people have felt for centuries between the colours we love and the way we live. Six profiles anchor the test: Crimson Red, bold and driven; Ocean Blue, calm and loyal; Forest Green, balanced and steady; Golden Yellow, joyful and curious; Royal Purple, imaginative and original; and Sunset Orange, warm and adventurous. Almost everyone leans toward one — and recognising yours is half the fun.
The test asks 24 questions in two styles. Some ask directly about colour: the wall you would paint, the notebook you would carry, the car or front door you would choose. Others describe situations, styles and weekends, where each answer expresses one colour profile's way of being. Your choices add up across all six colours, and your result also shows your runner-up, because most people are a blend — a blue steadied by green, or an orange lit by yellow.
Who is it for? Anyone who enjoys a mirror with a bit of magic in it: friends comparing colours at dinner, teams warming up a workshop, or one curious person on a quiet evening. It is an entertainment and self-reflection tool in a cheerful popular tradition — take it as a portrait, not a pronouncement, and enjoy arguing with it.
How scoring works
Each of the 24 questions offers four answers, and every answer belongs to one of the six colour profiles. Behind the scenes, every choice you make adds one point to its colour. Across the whole test each colour is offered sixteen times, so no colour has a head start and your result reflects your own taste and style alone.
At the end, your points are tallied across all six colours and shown as a blend. The highest score is your primary colour profile and the second-highest is your supporting colour — the influence that keeps real people from being caricatures. If two colours tie at the top, the test names the one you chose most consistently across both the direct colour questions and the style questions.

The result types
Crimson Red
You run warm and you run fast. Crimson Reds are decisive, passionate and courageous, with a competitive spark that turns obstacles into fuel. You would rather act and adjust than wait and wonder, and your confidence gives other people permission to be brave too. Life with you is rarely dull — and never half-hearted.
Full Crimson Red guide →Ocean Blue
You are the still surface over real depth. Ocean Blues are thoughtful, loyal and sincere, with a gift for trust that makes people confide in you within hours of meeting you. You prefer one true conversation to a hundred shallow ones, and your calm is not emptiness — it is consideration. When you speak, people listen, because they know you meant it.
Full Ocean Blue guide →Forest Green
You are rooted, and it shows. Forest Greens value balance, harmony and steady growth, and they bring a calming, practical presence wherever they land. You are rarely the loudest voice in the room, yet groups quietly organise themselves around your steadiness. Like everything you tend, the good things in your life grow slowly — and last.
Full Forest Green guide →Golden Yellow
You carry your own weather, and it is mostly sunny. Golden Yellows are optimistic, curious and mentally quick, with an enthusiasm that makes new people and new ideas feel welcome. Boredom is your only real enemy; learning, laughing and exploring are your native air. Around you, ordinary Tuesdays have a habit of becoming stories.
Full Golden Yellow guide →Royal Purple
You have a rich inner world, and it leaks beautifully into the outer one. Royal Purples are imaginative, intuitive and independent, with tastes and ideas that rarely come from the crowd. You sense meanings and moods early, and you need expression the way others need exercise. Ordinary was never really an option for you — and, honestly, you would not have it any other way.
Full Royal Purple guide →Sunset Orange
You are warmth with an appetite. Sunset Oranges are friendly, adventurous and generous, happiest when life is shared — good food, good company and a plan that leaves room for detours. You collect experiences and people in equal measure, and your enthusiasm makes invitations hard to refuse. If there is a gathering worth having, you are probably already organising it.

How accurate is this colour personality test?
It is accurate as a portrait of your tastes, which is exactly what it measures. Your colour choices and style answers do cluster in recognisable ways, and most people feel genuinely seen by their profile. But colour–personality links are a popular entertainment framework, not a validated scientific scale, so enjoy the recognition without treating the result as a measurement of your mind.
Can I be a blend of two colours?
Yes — most people are. Your result names your strongest colour and shows your runner-up, and the pair is usually the truest description: a Forest Green with Golden Yellow warmth feels quite different from a Forest Green deepened by Ocean Blue. Read both profiles and notice which combination your friends would choose for you.
Is this a medical or psychological diagnosis?
No. This test is for entertainment and self-reflection only. A colour profile describes taste and style in a popular tradition — it is not a diagnosis of anything, and no result here should be used for medical, psychological or employment decisions.
Are my answers private?
Completely. The test runs entirely in your browser: your answers are never sent to a server, never stored in an account and never shared. Closing the tab clears everything. Our privacy page explains this in full.
Why did I get a different result on another site?
Different sites use different colour sets — some have four colours, some seven, some include pink, black or white — and they weight style questions differently, so results often shift between sites. Your own favourites genuinely change with age, mood and life stage too. Treat any difference as two portraits from two angles, not as one of them being wrong.
What should I do with my result?
Enjoy it, share it and use it lightly. Compare colours with friends and notice how well the blends explain each other, try the growth tips for your colour for a week, or simply let the profile suggest your next notebook, wall colour or wardrobe accent. The best use of a colour result is a good conversation — starting with the one about whether it got you right.
